By accessing or using OSCO’s website and services, including tattooing, piercing, and other studio services, you agree to these terms and conditions. These terms are designed to protect OSCO’s interests, and any exceptions will only be considered at the discretion of OSCO.
1. Bookings and Deposits
1.1. Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. The deposit will be agreed upon at the time of booking and will be applied towards the total cost of the session. Failure to pay the deposit within the specified time frame will result in cancellation of your booking.
1.2. Final Payment: All outstanding balances must be paid in full on the day of your appointment before any work begins. OSCO reserves the right to refuse service if full payment is not received, and the deposit will be forfeited.
1.3. Rescheduling and Cancellations: Appointments can only be rescheduled with at least 72 hours’ notice. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit. OSCO reserves the right to refuse rescheduling requests that do not meet this requirement.
1.4. Studio-Initiated Cancellations: OSCO reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., artist unavailability, emergencies). In such cases, the deposit will either be refunded or applied to a new booking at OSCO’s discretion.
2. Client Responsibilities
2.1. Health Disclosure: It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or relevant health information before your appointment. OSCO will not be held liable for any issues arising from undisclosed health conditions. If you are unsure, consult a medical professional before your appointment.
2.2. Identification and Age Requirement: All clients must be at least 18 years old to receive tattoo or piercing services. Valid photo ID is required, and no services will be provided without proper identification.
2.3. Timeliness: You must arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, your appointment may be shortened or cancelled at OSCO’s discretion, and any deposits will be forfeited. OSCO is not obligated to accommodate late arrivals.
3. No Refund Policy
3.1. Non-Refundable Deposits: All deposits made for appointments are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations by the client.
3.2. No Refunds on Services: OSCO does not offer refunds on any completed tattoos, piercings, or other services. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they are satisfied with the design and procedure before the service begins.
4. Health and Safety
4.1. OSCO's Compliance: OSCO adheres to all necessary health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for our clients. All tools and equipment are sterilised, and our team follows strict hygiene procedures.
4.2. Client Responsibility: Aftercare instructions will be provided following your tattoo or piercing. Once the service is completed, the health and condition of the tattoo or piercing is the client’s responsibility. OSCO is not liable for any infections, reactions, or complications resulting from improper aftercare.
4.3. Risk Acknowledgement: You acknowledge that receiving a tattoo or piercing carries inherent risks, including but not limited to infection, allergic reactions, and scarring. By proceeding with any service, you accept full responsibility for these risks.
5. Behaviour and Studio Policy
5.1. Client Conduct: OSCO expects all clients to behave respectfully toward staff and other clients. Any inappropriate or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate termination of your session, and deposits or payments will not be refunded.
5.2. Substance Use: Clients under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be serviced, and their appointments will be cancelled without a refund. OSCO reserves the right to refuse service to anyone under the influence.
5.3. Right to Refuse Service: OSCO reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to medical concerns, client conduct, or the complexity of a requested design.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. Design Ownership: All designs created by OSCO’s artists are the intellectual property of OSCO and the individual artist. Clients are not permitted to use, replicate, or sell these designs without explicit written permission from OSCO.
6.2. Photography and Use of Images: OSCO reserves the right to photograph tattoos and piercings performed by our artists and use these images for promotional purposes, including on social media and our website. If you do not wish to have your image used, this must be agreed upon before the service begins.
7. Liability
7.1. Limited Liability: OSCO will not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or any complications following a tattoo or piercing. This includes, but is not limited to, infections, allergic reactions, or dissatisfaction with the design.
7.2. Personal Belongings: OSCO is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings while on our premises.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
OSCO reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately. Continued use of our services or website signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
